Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician

This well established independent primary care practice has been in the community for over 20 years. There are 2 Family Medicine Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers on the team. Each Primary Care Provider has a dedicated Medical Assistant. Apply to learn more!

Job Highlights for the Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician:

• Outpatient only, primary care
• Established independent practice (not owned by a hospital or health system)
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Benefits include malpractice insurance with tail coverage and health insurance, among others
• On-site draw for labs (blood processed off-site)
• Option to perform procedures based on the physician’s preferences
• Patient ages can be adult only or all ages, depending on the Primary Care Physician’s preferences

Training Program for the New Physician:
The new Primary Care Family or Internal Medicine Physician will start by working alongside the senior-most physician. They will get shown how to use the EMR with a low daily patient volume, typically starting around 8 per day. As the new team member grows comfortable, they will have a steadily increased daily volume based on their comfort level. Training is complete when the new team member is fully comfortable with the systems. Experienced team members will still remain available for questions.

They have a strong school system that is well respected and consistently ranks highly. There are great parks. Eldersburg has a mix of newly developed real estate and charming historical options.

Requirements for the Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Current resident, board eligible or board certified
